The Good Shoe Project

Not that we really need a good excuse to go shoe shopping, but knowing that kids in need will benefit from our habit definitely gives us added incentive.

Airwalk has teamed with Payless on The Good Shoe Project -- through Feb. 14, whenever a customer buys the exclusive Airwalk Hope shoe at the store, Payless will give a free pair of kids' shoes to a child in need in Central America through a new alliance with humanitarian organization World Vision.

Payless says it will donate a minimum of 100,000 pairs of children's shoes to be distributed next year to children in El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Guatemala.

The canvas slip-on style comes in women's sizes 5 to 11 in five colors: tan, denim, red, black and camo print.

The Airwalk Hope shoe is $19.99 and available at Payless stores and Payless.com.
